HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) Stephen Brown matched his career high with 21 points and Bucknell avoided back-to-back losses for the first time this season with an 83-69 victory over Colgate on Saturday.

Zach Thomas added 15 points, Kimbal Mackenzie 14 and Nana Foulland 13 points and 12 rebounds for his eighth double-double this season while Bruce Moore had 10 points for the Bison (13-6, 5-1), who were coming off their first Patriot League loss, against Lehigh.

Brown and Avi Toomer both made a pair of 3-pointers during an 18-2 run to close the second half and lead 33-20. The Bison then scored the first eight points of the second, four by Mackenzie, to go up 21. The lead remained in double figures.

Will Rayman scored 19 points and Sean O'Brien 15 for the Raiders (4-15, 2-4).

Bucknell ended a four-game losing streak to the Raiders.
