JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Dallas Moore scored 28 points and Garrett Sams finished with 18 points and North Florida took control before halftime and cruised to a 91-69 win over NJIT on Thursday night.

NJIT raced to a quick 18-8 lead in the first eight minutes before North Florida seized the momentum with a 35-8 run. Aaron Bodager made a 3 to give North Florida (10-16, 5-4 Atlantic Sun) a 27-26 lead and Sams followed with a 3 with 3:51 left before halftime. The Ospreys led 43-26 at the break.

The Ospreys never trailed by less than double figures after halftime.

Bodager and Wajid Aminu each scored 12 points, and Romelo Banks scored 10 points on 5-for-6 shooting to go along with six rebounds. Chris Davenport distributed a career-high 13 assists.

North Florida had a 46-34 rebounding advantage.

Anthony Tarke scored 23 points, Abdul Lewis had 15 points, and Tim Coleman had 12 points and 10 rebounds for NJIT (9-17, 1-9).
