SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Trevis Jackson buried a 3-pointer and Nick Hornsby followed with a layup in the final minute as Sacramento State upset the Big Sky Conference leader Weber State 77-74 on Thursday night.

The Wildcats, trailing 62-50 with 7:06 left, closed to 70-69 following a Ryan Richardson trey with 2:09 remaining. Hornsby answered with a jumper, then Jackson dropped in his 3-pointer and the Hornets held on to upset Weber State (14-8, 9-2) which has won 12 of its last 14.

Eric Stuteville led Sacramento State (8-14, 5-6) with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Justin Strings added 20 points and Marcus Graves dropped in 16 while dishing out seven assists.

The score was tied three times with 16 lead changes. The Hornets won the battle underneath scoring 46 points in the paint and pulling down 41 rebounds to Weber State's 26 points and 26 rebounds, respectively.

Richardson led Weber State with 16 points.
