NEWARK, N.J. (AP) Reilly Walsh hit a clutch 3-pointer with 49 seconds to go and combined with Tim Coleman to make 3 of 4 free throws in the last 21 seconds as NJIT capped a late comeback to defeat Stetson 60-56 on Saturday.

The Highlanders, winning just their second Atlantic Sun Conference game, made up a nine-point gap with a 12-2 run and took a 52-51 lead when Coleman, who made 6 of 8 free throws and finished with 14 points, hit a jumper with 2:19 to play. Brian Pegg answered with a jump shot on the other end to put Stetson ahead and the lead see-sawed until Reilly hit his trey.

Anthony Tarke, who had 15 points and 10 rebounds, stole the ball from Stetson's Divine Myles on the ensuing possession, which forced the Hatters to foul. Coleman made a pair of foul shots with 21 seconds to go and Reilly rebounded a missed a last-second 3-pointer by Divine, with NJIT (10-19, 2-11) up by three, was fouled and added an insurance free throw. He finished with 10 points.

Derick Newton led Stetson (11-19, 3-10) with 17 points.
