Junior college standout Cinmeon Bowers committed to Florida State on Tuesday.
He confirmed the news with a Tweet.
"Just committed to Florida State!" Bowers tweeted.
Bowers is a 6-foot-6 forward enrolled at Chipola Junior College. The Milwaukee native failed to qualify academically out of high school and averaged 11 points and seven rebounds per game last season at Chipola. Louisville and Memphis were among the other schools seriously considering Bowers. He's the first Class of 2014 commitment for FSU.
