Playing in the Rose Bowl means UCLA fans might not have the thrill of following an eye-popping new stadium construction project (a la Baylor's) or a state-of-the-art megamillions stadium renovation (a la Texas A&M's), but they do have what might be the next-best thing: a new $50 million football facility, announced last September.

With fund-raising well underway and the project architects chosen, Wednesday UCLA unveiled a set of artist's renderings of the facility, which does not yet have a targeted completion date:

Really digging the "Jim Mora surveys his kingdom, a kingdom where players can chill out in beanbag chairs if they so desire" vibe of that last one.

But furniture choices aside, the renderings look impressive -- and given that the Bruins still need to fund-raise the final $10 million for the facility, that's probably a good thing. Here's Mora discussing the project:
