Nebraska 's defensive line depth has taken a hit with the reported transfer of tackle Aaron Curry, a junior who started eight games for the Huskers in 2013.

Both SoonerScoop.com and HuskerOnline.com reported that Curry would transfer to Oklahoma, the school wher his father played basketball in 1979 and 1980. But SoonersIllustrated.com spoke to Aaron Curry Sr. and got a very different story:

Wherever he lands, the Keller, Texas, native would sit out the upcoming 2014 season as a redshirt and be eligible to play fin 2015.

Curry appeared in all 13 Nebraska games as a sophomore, collecting 24 tackles and two sacks. Despite that experience, HuskerOnline reported Curry had slipped to the second-string on the Huskers' depth chart behind sophomores Vincent Valentine and Maliek Collins. Junior Kevin Williams is also expected to play a role in the Huskers' tackle rotation.
