The college football season starts Aug. 26. While that seems like it isn't that far away, the truth is, it's still two months until we actually have a game to watch. Two months is a long time.

So you have to find a way to help pass the time between now and then, and one way to do so would be to start working out constantly. Not only would you get into better shape than you currently are, but maybe by the time the season begins, you'll be able to squat 650 pounds like LSU running back Derrius Guice.

Yes, I said 650 pounds, which is a fancy way of saying nearly a third of a ton.

I could do that. And when I say I could do that, I mean I could do that as long as all those dudes spotting me took on half that weight. If they did that, I could easily squat 650. Probably wouldn't even break a sweat.

But, then again, I am a writer, and we're all in impeccable shape.
