Patriots' Josh Uche: Returning to New England
Uche has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Patriots, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Uche reportedly had bigger offers elsewhere, but he opted to return to Foxborough for less. The 2020 second-round pick has played four seasons with the Pats and was both a depth defender and special teams contributor last season. He currently projects to start opposite Matthew Judon (biceps) at outside linebacker in 2024.

Patriots' Josh Uche: Downgraded to out
The Patriots have downgraded Uche (foot) to out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.
Uche originally drew a questionable designation, but he is now going to miss his second straight game after injuring his foot in Week 6. As a result, Chris Board and Anfernee Jennings are candidates to again see increased workloads at linebacker.
