EL PASO, Texas (AP) - John Bohannon's 3-point play with 14 seconds left in overtime boosted UTEP to a 54-52 victory over Tulane on Saturday night.
Michael Perez led a balanced scoring effort for UTEP (12-13, 5-6 Conference USA) with 15 points. Bohannon led the Miners with 10 rebounds.
Ricky Tarrant and Jordan Callahan each scored 19 points to pace Tulane (15-9, 3-7).
Jacques Streeter's basket with 1:20 left capped the scoring in regulation and forced the overtime.
Tarrant had eight rebounds and Josh Davis and Tre Drye each had seven boards for Tulane.
UTEP scored 22 points off turnovers and had a 14-7 scoring advantage off the bench.
