BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) Evan Gordon scored 15 points and Yogi Ferrell had 14 points with seven assists to help Indiana rout overmatched North Florida 89-68 on Saturday.

Noah Vonleh posted his sixth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds and added four steals as the Hoosiers recovered from a stretch of two losses in three games.

Indiana (7-2) has won 35 straight nonconference games at home. The Hoosiers shot 46.4 percent from the field and limited the Ospreys to 37.1 percent in a game played at an often-hectic pace. Jeremy Hollowell contributed 12 points for the Hoosiers, who had 16 offensive rebounds and 42 points in the paint.

UNF (5-6) dropped to 0-6 all-time against Big Ten teams. The Ospreys, facing their third RPI top 40 opponent this season, never led. Freshman point guard Dallas Moore had a game-high and season-best 27 points.

The Hoosiers led by as many as 34 in the first meeting between the schools. They bounced back from a 69-52 loss at Syracuse in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Coach Tom Crean criticized Indiana's effort after that defeat, believing his players gave less than their best effort in the second half.

On Saturday, the Hoosiers started strong and kept their foot on the gas pedal.

Nine Hoosiers scored in the first half on their way to a 52-35 lead. Defense fueled offense for Indiana before the break, with seven steals helping create 11 fast-break points. The crowd erupted when a powerful swat by Troy Williams was gathered by Ferrell, who quickly turned it into a pull-up 3 in transition.

Moore had 15 points in the first half. His trey from the right corner capped an 11-2 run by UNF and cut the lead to 28-24 with about nine minutes remaining in the half. The Ospreys were never that close again.

Indiana responded with a 7-0 run. Ferrell made two free throws and assisted on a 3-pointer by Hollowell before Will Sheehey added a layup. After five straight points by UNF, Indiana unleashed another spurt of 14-0. Stanford Robinson scored five and Vonleh had four in the run, during which UNF coach Matthew Driscoll used two timeouts to little effect. The lead hit 20 for the first time when Vonleh made two free throws with 2:45 left before intermission.

After Charles McRoy completed a three-point play to make it 54-42 early in the second half, Indiana's defense clamped down and limited the Ospreys to five points over a stretch of more than nine minutes. Reserve big men Hanner Mosquera-Perea and Luke Fischer combined to score 12 straight points for the Hoosiers to push the lead to 32 with about eight minutes remaining and remove all doubt.
