Ball in court of Josh Stinson on demotion to Norfolk

Right-hander Josh Stinson, who was designated for assignment by the Orioles on Tuesday, has cleared waivers and has been assigned to Triple-A Norfolk. He must decide whether he will accept the move.

Stinson pitched just once in his last stint with Baltimore and hurled 1 2/3 shutout innings. But he owns a 6.23 ERA in eight appearances on the season.
