Blue Jays claim LHP Scott Barnes off waivers Tuesday

The Blue Jays have claimed left-hander Scott Barnes off waivers from the Rangers, the team announced Tuesday. Barnes has not pitched in the majors since 2013. He has a 5.20 career ERA over 27 2/3 innings of relief. Rowen posted a 4.15 ERA in 8 2/3 innings over eight appearances with the Rangers.
