Brewers OF Ryan Braun headed for MRI; back surgery likely

Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun (back) will undergo an MRI on Wednesday and will likely have surgery Thursday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Braun didn't play in any of the final six games of the season, and it appears he's now set to undergo an offseason procedure that's expected to to need a month of recovery, but it shouldn't impact his availability for the beginning of the 2016 season.
