Diamondbacks starter Jhoulys Chacin allowed two runs on four hits and two walks over five innings Tuesday against the Padres in a no decision. He struck out three.

Chacin missed a quality start for the first time in three outings with the Diamondbacks, and he has allowed home runs in each of them.

He owns a solid 14:5 K:BB in 18.1 innings, and his progress will be worth monitoring heading into next season, as his success in Colorado makes him an appealing reclamation project for Arizona.
