Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig said Wednesday that he will be on the Dodgers' NLDS roster, ESPN Los Angeles reports.

While the Dodgers haven't formally submitted their roster for the Division Series, the players of been informed of their status, and Puig told the media he's made the cut. Scott Van Slyke's slow progress from a wrist injury solidified Puig's spot, as the Dodgers need a right-handed bat to use off the bench against right-handers and start against lefties. Puig returned for the final two games of the regular season after missing more than a month following another hamstring setback.
