Braves pitcher Manny Banuelos underwent surgery Thursday to remove a bone spur in his left elbow.
His season will come to a close following the procedure, but at least the issue isn't anything too significant in nature. The young southpaw should be ready for spring training, at which point he'll likely battle for a rotation spot in 2016.
