Red Sox top pitching prospects Brian Johnson and Henry Owens have not been promoted yet, but will be placed in the rotation soon.

That was the word Wednesday from John Farrell, per the Boston Globe, which is further reporting that the team will be sticking with its current rotation at least through this weeend.

Johnson, who started one game for Boston earlier this season, is 9-6 with a 2.54 ERA at Triple-A Pawtucket. He has allowed just 72 hits in 92 innings and has fanned 87.

Owens is 3-7 with a 3.25 ERA and has been particularly impressively lately with seven quality starts in his last eight outings.
