Twins starter Kris Johnson was hit hard Friday night against the Rockies at Coors Field, dropping to 0-1 on the year. The right-hander was shelled for five runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out three over over four innings of a 6-2 defeat.

Johnson has not made it past the fifth inning through each of his first two starts. He owns a 5.40 ERA and a 2.16 WHIP over 8 1/3 innings pitched this season. His next start will likely come after the All-Star break, though a date has not been determined.
