Giants outfielder Mac Williamson has an apparent injury to his right ulner collateral ligament and could potentially need Tommy John surgery, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Williamson flashed some power with high Class A San Jose last season, hitting .292/.375/.504 with 25 home runs in 520 at-bats. He has posted a .318/.420/.506 line with San Jose this season. Tommy John surgery would knock him out for the remainder of 2014, though he could be ready for the beginning of the 2015 season.
