Mark Teahen reportedly heading to Giants

Third baseman Mark Teahen, who has not had a major league at-bat since 2011, has been signed to a minor league contract by the Giants, a source has told SB Nation. He has not been invited to spring training.

Teahen had bounced from Arizona to Cincinnati to Texas since April 2013. He was a solid starter for Kansas City from 2005 to 2009.
