Rangers pitcher Miles Mikolas earned a win Monday, giving up just three hits and one walk in eight scoreless innings while striking out five in his team's 2-0 victory over the Mariners.

Mikolas (2-5) needed just 92 pitches to deliver by far his best start of the season and post just his third quality start in 10 tries. He owns a 6.44 ERA and 38:18 K:BB ratio in 57 1/3 innings, even with Monday's gem. Mikolas is slated to face the Astros Saturday.
