Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler played hero on Thursday, as he crushed a two-run walk-off home run in the 8-6 win over the Royals. Kinsler, who went 2 for 3 with three RBI in the game, took a Ryan Madson pitch over the left-field wall in the ninth inning to give the Tigers the victory.
It was Kinsler's sixth home run of the year, and the second walk-off blast of his career. The first one came back in 2009 with the Rangers.
Kinsler has been on fire at the plate recently, as he's batting .436 with two doubles, a triple, a home run and six RBI over his past 10 games.
