The Reds acquired three left-handed pitchers in return for moving ace Johnny Cueto to the Royals on Sunday, the team announced.

Cincinnati received Brandon Finnegan , John Lamb and Cody Reed as part of the package to move Cueto, who will be a free agent after this season.

Finnegan and Lamb will head to Triple-A Louisville, and Cody Reed will be sent to Double-A Pensacola.

Finnegan was 3-0 with an impressive 2.96 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings with the Royals this season. Lamb pitched his way to a 9-1 record for the Royals' Triple-A team this season, while posting a 2.67 ERA with 96 strikeouts in 94 1/3 innings. Reed, a second-round pick back in 2013, sported a 3.45 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 28 2/3 innings for Double-A Northwest Arkansas this season.
