Scott Richmond signs minor-league deal with Rangers

The Rangers have signed reliever Scott Richmond to a minor-league deal, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Richmond signed with the Lotte Giants of the Korean League earlier in the year and was not expected to pitch in the U.S. this season. Instead, Richmond will report to the Rangers' extended spring training facilities. The club has a month to assign him to one of their minor-league affiliates.
