Twins option Michael Tonkin to Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday

The Twins optioned reliever Michael Tonkin to Triple-A Rochester following Wednesday's game against the White Sox. Tonkin has made 16 appearances in three stints with the Twins, posting a 5.73 ERA, five walks and 10 strikeouts in 11 innings.
