Yankee prospect Ty Hensley has Tommy John surgery

Ty Hensley , the Yankees' first-round pick in the 2012 draft, continued his run of bad luck. 

Hensley was the victim of a brutal beating over the holidays that left him hospitalized. He recovered from the injuries, but on Monday, the RHP underwent Tommy John surgery that is expected to sideline him for the season, per Baseball America.
