Catcher Brian McCann put the Yankees on the board early on Thursday, as he smacked a three-run home run in the first inning of the 8-6 win over the Indians. It was his 20th home run of the season, and his second in as many games.
McCann now has eight straight seasons with at least 20 home runs, which ranks behind Mike Piazza and Yogi Bera (10 each) all-time.
