Yankees starter Michael Pineda picked up his 11th win of the season Saturday, tossing 5 1/3 scoreless innings and allowing four hits and a walk while striking out four.

Two of the hits lead off the sixth inning for the Mets, forcing manager Joe Girardi into using a quick hook in a game the Yankees couldn't afford to let slip through their fingers. Pineda now has just one quality start in five outings since coming off the DL at the end of August, but he'll look to build on this shutout performance in his next start, at home Thursday against the White Sox.
