Grizzlies' P.J. Hairston: Nearing return, remains out Tuesday

Hairston (groin) is nearing a return, but will be held out Tuesday against the Bulls, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

It will be the 11th consecutive absence for Hairston, who is still working back from a strained left groin. Coach Dave Joerger said Monday that the team is expecting to have Hairston back before the end of the regular season, and they're handling his status on a game-to-game basis. As such, Hairston should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Mavericks.
