Hardaway will start at shooting guard Friday against the Raptors, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Hardaway was highly productive during an 11-game run as the starting shooting guard from Jan. 29 to Feb. 25, but it appears his latest stint on the top unit may be short lived. Coach Mike Budenholzer noted that Hardaway would enter the starting five because normal starting wing Thabo Sefolosha arrived late to a pregame walkthrough, so Sefolosha may only be facing a one-game banishment to the second unit. Budenholzer also wasn't willing to commit to using Hardaway to begin the second half of Friday's game, so don't expect Hardaway's minutes to see a major boost as a result of the starting assignment.
