Mack finished with eight points (3-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, two steals and one rebound across 26 minutes in Saturday's 105-98 win over the Nuggets.
Though George Hill (toe) missed a second straight game, Mack has been bypassed for the starts in both contests, as coach Quin Snyder has elected to go with Dante Exum. Snyder may just have wanted to keep Mack on the bench in order to leave his second unit intact, as Mack has still outpaced Exum for minutes in both contests, just as he had in the preceding four games. Look for Mack to retain the primary backup duties when Hill returns, which could come as soon as Tuesday's tilt with the Suns or Thursday's game against the Warriors.
