Clarkson poured in 20 points (8-16 FG, 4-7 3Pt), and added four rebounds, an assist and a steal over 35 minutes in Friday's 116-105 loss to the Nuggets.

The second-year guard was pressed into more responsibility on offense after backcourt mate D'Angelo Russell went down with an in-game ankle injury, and Clarkson responded by posting at least 20 points for the second time in the last three games. The recent scoring resurgence follows a four-game stretch where Clarkson went cold and averaged only 9.3 points on 26 percent shooting (15-for-57). If Russell is forced to miss multiple games down the season's final stretch, Clarkson could make for an excellent play in all fantasy formats, considering the additional scoring load he'll likely take on.
