Smith sprained his ankle in Wednesday's matchup with the Pacers, and will not be able to return.
Smith had produced six points and three rebounds in eight minutes of action prior to heading to the locker room. Unfortunately, he will not be able to return. His next opportunity to return will be Friday in Brooklyn. Expect an update on his status when more information becomes available.
