Knicks forward Metta World Peace informed his fans on Twitter that he and his agent are working on a buyout, which could be finalized as soon as Saturday.

World Peace has seen his role diminish as of late. He was held scoreless in seven minutes off the bench Friday at Orlando. He has appeared in six of New York's last 11 games dating back to Jan. 28. He has appeared in 29 games this season, averaging just 4.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 13.4 minutes -- all career low numbers for the 34-year-old.
