Faried (back) scored 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and one assist across 18 minutes off the bench in a 129-114 win over the Clippers on Thursday.
After missing the previous nine games with the back injury, Faried was eased back into the fold in a reserve role, despite his main replacement in the starting five during his absence, Wilson Chandler, sitting out with a groin issue. Faried played well following the extended layoff, but with Chandler on the mend and Mason Plumlee dropping 10 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and three blocks while starting at power forward Thursday, there's likely going to be limited opportunity for Faried to pick up much additional minutes.
