Jankovic was waived by the Heat on Monday, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.
Jankovic hardly saw any time during the preseason, and given the number of other offseason signings the Heat made in their frontcourt, Jankovic was a long shot to make the roster after training camp. His next likely destination is the D-League for Miami's affiliate in Sioux Falls.
