Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns: Secures 100th career double-double

Towns posted 29 points (14-21 FG. 1-5 3Pt), 14 rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes in Wednesday's 107-91 victory over the Clippers.

Towns, 21, is the second-youngest person in NBA history to reach 100 career double-doubles, trailing only Dwight Howard. The center and the rest of the Wolves had the benefit of an extra day of rest after Monday's scheduled game against the Trail Blazers was postponed due to excessive condensation on their home court, and it appeared to do wonders for him. This is Towns' 18th consecutive game with 20 points or more, and his seventh straight double-double.
