Porter had a breakout year after becoming the full-time starter, averaging 11.6 points per game.

Porter saw his role increase during the 2015-16 season to full-time starter after the departure of Paul Pierce this past offseason. The added responsibility and minutes naturally led to an increase in production, going from 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest during the 2014-15 season to 11.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season. The third-year pro played in all but seven games, only missing three in December with a bruised thigh and four games in January with hip soreness. Unless Washington makes a big offseason acquisition, Porter will remain the starter and should be taken in the mid rounds of standard league drafts.
