Raiders' Justin Herron: In line to play Sunday
Herron (concussion) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports. Herron went from being a limited participant in Thursday's practice to a full go Friday, as he's moved past his concussion and will be available this Sunday. The 27-year-old tackle has played only two snaps this year, with both of them coming on special teams.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Justin Herron: Won't play Week 6
Herron (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports. The 28-year-old suffered a concussion during Las Vegas' Week 5 win over Green Bay, and he has yet to clear protocol. Herron has played only two snaps on the year, with both of those coming on special teams, making this a minimal loss for the Raiders.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Justin Herron: Not competing for starting spot
Herron (knee) will most likely be a swing tackle ahead of the coming season, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports. The 2020 sixth-round pick was placed on injured reserve Oct. 8 of last season after suffering a knee injury, but he's since had time to move past the issue. Herron, among others, has been aiming to compete with Jermaine Eluemunor for the right tackle spot, but it seems unlikely Herron has a shot to start at this point. Expect the Wake Forest product to be a depth tackle for Vegas' offensive line.... See More ... See Less
