The San Diego Chargers listed running back Ryan Mathews and wide receiver Keenan Allen as inactive for Week 17’s game against the Chiefs.
Mathews is nursing an ankle injury, while Allen is suffering from an ankle and shoulder injury.
Other players listed as inactive included Mike Scifres , Damion Square , Greg Ducre , Ryan Carrethers and Cordarro Law .
The San Diego Chargers announced a pair of roster moves on Saturday, according to U-T San Diego. The team promoted center Jeff Baca from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster. In a corresponding move, they placed punter Mike Scifres on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

Scifres has already missed two games due to the injury, and was ruled out of for the team's regular season finale. The Chargers need to add a center to the active roster, and Scifres could be in danger of losing his spot so the team can add another lineman.
