The Giants made a slew of moves Saturday to pare their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.The players on that list are DT Kelcy Quarles, QB Curtis Painter, FB John Conner, TE Kellen Davis, DE Israel Idonije, CB Bennett Jackson, OT Rogers Gaines, RB Michael Cox, WR Julian Talley, RB Kendall Gaskins, OT Mark Asper, OT Adam Gress, G Jamaal Johnson-Webb, LB Terrell Manning, LB Dan Fox, DB Chandler Fenner, DB Thomas Gordon, DT Kelcy Quarles and DE Jordan Stanton.
The Giants announced a few roster moves Tuesday. The most notable is that running back David Wilson cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve. Wilson announced his retirement Monday due to diffuse cervical stenosis. The Giants also signed defensive end Israel Idonije and tight end Jerome Cunningham, while waiving defensive end Kendrick Adams.

Lions DE Israel Idonije and OL LaAdrian Waddle have been ruled out Week 17. Idonije is dealing with a neck injury. He was unable to practice Friday. Waddle has an ankle injury which kept him out of practice all week.
