"Had surgery this morning to fix an ongoing problem," he wrote. "Due to the surgery I will miss the 2015 season. Tough decision but it was one that needed to be made and I am home and well!" Cason was a full-time starter for Carolina last season before his release after allowing six touchdown passes. Oppoosing quarterbacks completed 56 of 70 passes against him for a 122.2 passer rating, per Pro Football Focus.
