Avalanche's Erik Johnson: Misses practice due to illness

Johnson was not at practice Monday with an illness, Terry Frei of The Denver Post reports.

Johnson's status for Tuesday's matchup against Nashville should be considered questionable at best considering he is not the first Avs player to come down with this bug. In his last five contests, the blueliner has tallied a goal and two assists while averaging 23:32 of ice time per night. When you factor in the 28-year-old's power-play contributions, he is certainly worth considering in most fantasy formats.
