Avs' MacKinnon To Start Skating In A Few Weeks

MacKinnon (foot) will resume skating in a few weeks.MacKinnon was only expected to be limited for 6-to-8 weeks after fracturing his foot in early March, so he should still be on tap for a relatively normal offseason. The reigning Calder Trophy winner regressed during his sophomore season, posting 14 goals and 38 points over 64 games, but at just 19 years old, his development remains well ahead of the curve. He still has several point-per-game seasons in his future, possibly as soon as 2015-16.
