Pirri was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Thursday, per CapFriendly.
The 30-year-old has appeared in just one NHL game this season, spending the majority of his time between the taxi squad and minors. Pirri will head back to the minors, where he's racked up five goals and six points in just three AHL games this campaign.
