Jaskin missed practice Monday and is considered day-to-day with a sore back, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Jaskin's opportunities have been limited thus far as he has averaged just 10:37 of ice time when he has played and was a healthy scratch twice. The 23-year-old will likely be replaced in the lineup by Magnus Paajarvi if he misses any games, but even when healthy, could find himself periodically swapped out for Paajarvi throughout the year. Without a defined role, Jaskin will continue to have limited fantasy value with other bottom-six wing options available with more upside.
