McQuaid (thumb) saw 17:26 worth of ice time in his return to action Saturday against the Senators, the Boston Globe reports.In his first game action since Nov. 18, McQuaid replaced Matt Bartkowski on the Bruins' No. 2 defensive pairing, skating along with Dennis Seidenberg and recording four PIM in the process. While McQuaid's upside on offense is limited, his rugged and sound positional brand of defense is an asset to the Bruins' back line.
