Called up from AHL

Carrier was called up to Buffalo on Thursday.Carrier was one of the earlier cuts from camp but returns to the big club. No explicit reason was given for the call-up as the Sabres still have 21 forwards at camp. It's possible the team may just want a second look at Carrier, but he'll most likely be a minor league depth player this season.
