Desharnais exited Tuesday's game against the Blues with a lower-body injury and will not return, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
It's unclear when or how Desharnias sustained the ailment, but given that it was announced he won't return to the contest, it could be on the serious side. The 30-year-old center logged 13:29 of ice time prior to his departure. There will likely be an update on the Quebec native's availability prior to Thursday's matchup against the Devils.
